The final round of the 4th league fistball field championship took place in Herblingen on August 19, 2022.

A big thank you also goes to our catering team. Special thanks to Toni, who managed the catering for the last time.
He dedicated himself to this for many years, and we are incredibly grateful to him. There's no need to worry, though; the catering will continue under new management.
After weeks of drought, it finally rained again on that particular day.
However, only the second set of the evening took place in light rain; all other matches were played on a slightly damp pitch.
Herblingen played the opening match of the evening against Schleitheim, with the home team winning 3-0.
The third match, MR Buchthalen against MR Flurlingen, was followed with great excitement. Every point Buchthalen scored helped Herblingen become champions.
Suddenly, it happened: MR Buchthalen secured a point against Flurlingen, and the championship battle was on. In the final match, Herblingen and Flurlingen started with the same number of points.
Whoever won two sets in the last match of the season would be champion.
Herblingen surprisingly won the first set, giving them a slight advantage going into the second. However, they narrowly lost the second set to Flurlingen. Therefore, the third set would decide everything.
Unfortunately, the third set went narrowly against Herblingen, and we ultimately had to congratulate Flurlingen on their well-deserved title. Congratulations to Flurlingen on their championship!
Herblingen can be very satisfied with second place, as we clearly exceeded our expectations.
Finally, we said goodbye to Severin, who has decided to play for Dägerlen Seniors in the future.
We sincerely thank Severin for his many years of loyalty and tireless dedication and wish him much success and enjoyment with his new team.

And that was also the last time we played in our green and yellow Jamaican jerseys. From next season onwards, Herblingen will be playing in blue again.
